Delete your VoltaAMP account

1.Delete it yourself

Deletion is immediate and permanent, and it cannot be undone. Download a copy of your data first if you want to keep it.

• Sign in to VoltaAMP.
• Open Profile, then Security and privacy.
• Under Delete account, enter your current password, type DELETE, and confirm.

2.If you cannot sign in

Write to our Data Protection Officer, Essam Alhyari, through the privacy channel on the Contact page, from the email address of the account. We check that the request comes from the account's owner, delete the account, and tell you when it is done.

3.What is deleted

• Your account, profile, and consent records.
• Your vehicles and trips, including shared trip links.
• Your home charger listings, their photos, and location requests.
• Your road events, station check-ins, and votes.
• Your blocks and every signed-in session.

4.What is kept

A few records stay for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy, without your account attached where possible.

• Reports and station corrections you filed: until 12 months after the decision on them.
• Sign-in and posting log (from 18 October 2026): your account identifier and the network address and time of each sign-in and post, until 12 months after each entry. It is handed over only against a valid legal order.
• Station records that were corrected because of an approved contribution: kept, without your identity.
• Administrative audit records: kept permanently so that they stay tamper-evident; they may include the email address an account had when it was sanctioned.
• Database backups: deleted data can remain in them for up to seven days.
