Child safety standards

VoltaAMP has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards explain how we prevent it, how to report it, and what we do when it is reported.

1.Our standards

VoltaAMP is operated by ALMA Studio. Accounts are only for people aged 18 or older, and members can interact only through road events, check-ins, home charger requests, and, in Driver network, location sharing and emoji from a fixed set with people they invited.

  • Child sexual abuse material, and any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits, or endangers a child, is prohibited everywhere on VoltaAMP.
  • Using VoltaAMP to locate, contact, or meet a child is prohibited.
  • An account that breaks these standards is permanently suspended, without the usual warnings.

2.How we prevent harm

  • Sign-up requires a separate confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the Terms of Use have no exception for younger people.
  • Members cannot send free text, images, or links to each other. Driver network allows only twelve fixed emoji, and only between people who chose to share with each other.
  • Live location is shared only with people a member invites, one by one, and a block ends it at once.
  • Public text is checked automatically for abuse, contact details, and links before it is published.

3.How to report a concern

In the app, use Report on any member, message, or item and choose Child safety concern. Reports with this reason go to the front of the moderation queue.

Outside the app, write to our child safety contact through the privacy channel on the Contact page. You do not need an account.

If a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 911 first.

4.What we do

  • We review every child safety report as soon as possible and always within 24 hours.
  • We remove the content, permanently suspend the account, and end any location sharing it had.
  • We keep the evidence securely and report the matter to the Jordanian authorities, including the Public Security Directorate, and cooperate with any valid legal order.
  • We never ask the person who reported to share the material with us.
