About VoltaAMP
VoltaAMP is an electric-vehicle charging companion built for Jordan, in Arabic and English, by people who drive here.
1.What VoltaAMP is
VoltaAMP helps drivers find a charger they can actually use, plan a journey that accounts for charging stops, and get turn-by-turn guidance to the next plug.
It is a responsive, installable web application. Native iOS and Android apps will follow once the product has proven itself, and the architecture is already shaped so they can share the same backend.
VoltaAMP is operated by ALMA Studio.
2.Why Jordan first
Jordan has one of the fastest-growing electric vehicle fleets in the region and a charging network that is expanding faster than any single map has kept up with. Drivers here plan around range, elevation, and a charger that may or may not be working.
Building for one country properly — its roads, its two languages, its charging operators, its regulator data — produces something more useful than a global map with thin coverage.
3.Bilingual by default
Arabic and English are supported from the first line of every feature, including full right-to-left layout. No feature ships in one language only.
Where a provider cannot supply Arabic — driving instructions, for instance — VoltaAMP writes the Arabic itself rather than leaving English in place.
4.Honest about what we do not know
Most charging records in Jordan cannot be verified from a desk. Rather than presenting everything as equally reliable, VoltaAMP shows a verification state on every record and labels researched records as AI-added · Unverified.
VoltaAMP never claims live availability it does not have. Availability comes from short-lived member check-ins, and it says so.
5.How VoltaAMP is funded
VoltaAMP is funded by its operator, ALMA Studio. It runs on a small set of paid and free service plans, chosen to keep costs predictable while the product is being validated.
Charging operators can pay for sponsored placement, which is shown in a separate, clearly labelled list. Paid placement never changes a verification state, never hides a competitor, and never suppresses community reports.
6.Not built yet
Evidence photo uploads, push notifications, and live operator availability feeds are not implemented. Transactional email is built but inactive until a verified sending domain is configured.
We would rather list these here than let the interface imply they exist.
7.Get involved
The fastest way to improve VoltaAMP is to report what you see: a missing station, a wrong price, a charger that is down. Every report goes to a reviewed moderation queue.
